True Love

I have a new love, and it is called Prisma. The Alexander Wang Prisma tote, to be exact. I've been in love with it since I spotted it in Selfridges. Beautifully simple, unfussy, and not dripping in logos, it's going to go perfectly with everything I wear. At least it will when I can afford to buy it. It's my birthday next month. Hey mum...

Home Time

I'm moving house next month, so I'm in manic decoration planning mode. My days are mostly spent staring at Pinterest photos, and looking at overpriced home wares online. Here's a couple of my favourite decorating ideas.

P.S. I found a beautiful hurricane lantern like the ones above for £9 in IKEA!

Sixties Style Champion

When I used to visit my grandad, we always used to watch a TV show in the afternoons called The Champions. Made in the 1960's, the show follows three people who develop superhuman powers after a plane crash in the mountains (stay with me, it's better than it sounds!). They go to work for a secret organisation, fighting crime and so on, however my interest always lay in the outfits that Sharon, the only female, wore. Whether in an office, or shooting bad guys, Sharon was always to be found in a chic little suit and matching hat, or a beautifully straight shift dress, hair neatly pinned up, eyeliner winged out perfectly. Always sixties chic. Plus, she can read minds. Quite a girl.

Valentino Fall 2013

Valentino suit

I think suits are one of those fashion items that get a bad rep. They have a slightly fusty reputation, reminiscent of women power walking to work in trainers and trouser suits. However, brands like The Kooples are doing a lot to change this. I've lusted after their trouser suits ever since my sister first showed them to me in Paris. However, this Valentino skirt suit showed yesterday in Paris, has a whole different attitude, and I love it. Although it's classic black, the scalloped edges make it look very modern and chic. Like the kind of thing Audrey Hepburn, or Alexa Chung would wear out to lunch. Beautiful, no?

Make Up With Twiggy

Twiggy's Sixties Eye Make Up

I can't even begin to explain how excited I was when I found this. Twiggy's eye make up is so iconic. Although it might be a little much for some people during the day, there's no reason you couldn't do a slightly more subtle version of this. Plus, sixties style is de rigueur thanks to last seasons Vuitton collection. So chic.
